Check-In and Check-Out
RV and Pull-Through Sites
Check In/Out Times

For early check-ins and late check-outs, please give us a call and we will try to accommodate you. Checking in/out before check-in/out time at any site will incur a fee of $10.
For your vehicle’s convenience, please proceed to your designated site, and then come into the office to check in or complete contactless check-in. For RV Sites we recommend that you flush the water lines before connecting, using a filter and a pressure regulator.
Cabin Houses and Cozy Cabins

For early check-ins and late check-outs, please give us a call and we will try to accommodate you. Checking in/out before check-in/out time in any cabin will incur a fee of $50.
Please pick up keys from our office upon arrival, unless otherwise arranged. Please return your keys to the office upon checkout. If you depart when the office is closed, please leave the key in the night deposit box outside the office door. Any keys that are not returned are subject to a $150.00 re-key fee. All Cabins are smoke-free including on the decks, detection of smoking in the units or on the decks; will result in a $150 fee. All Cabins are pet-free, detection of animals in the unit; will result in a $150 fee. Please leave units tidy upon departure. Used towels, bed sheets, and other linens need to be placed on the floor of the bathroom. Any excessive cleaning needed after your departure may result in a $100 fee.
Tent Sites

For our camper’s convenience, please proceed to your designated camping site, and then come into the office to check in or use contactless check-in.
Please note: If your tent is too large and occupies more than one tent site, that could have been used by another camper, you may be charged for the additional site.
Cancellation Policies
Meadows of Dan Campground & Cabins is an exclusive property where every guest and reservation is both important and special to us. If your travel plans change and you must cancel your reservation, please give us a call at 276-952-2292 to cancel your reservation, per the below policy. Voice messages will not suffice.
Cabins
If you are renting a Cabin, in the event that you must cancel, we require a 7-day notice to cancel by phone prior to the day of arrival. If you would like to reschedule your reservation to another date, we do that one time as a courtesy as long as it is done 14 days prior to the arrival date with no penalties. If you are canceling 3 days or less before the date of your arrival, we require $25 for each day canceling.
RV and Pull-Through Sites

Group Cancellation Policy
Group discounts start at 6 (six) accommodations / RV, Tent, and Pull-Thru Sites will receive 10% off each accommodation / site. Cabins do not receive a group discount. In the event that you must cancel, we require a 7-day notice to cancel by phone prior to the day of arrival. If you would like to reschedule your reservation to another date, we do that one time as a courtesy as long as it is done 14 days prior to the arrival date with no penalties. If you are canceling 3 days or less before the date of your arrival, we require $15 for each day canceling.
The group leader is responsible for any unpaid balances. Group rates are not available during June, July, October, special events* and holidays with a 3-night minimum including Memorial Day, Labor Day, Easter, Thanksgiving, and Christmas. Meadows of Dan Campground & Cabins staff reserves the right to determine accommodations/sites needed when you are making. *Special events are predetermined and subject to change without notice.
Date Change/Transfer Policy
If you need to change or transfer any dates of your reservation(s), we do it one time as a courtesy as long as it’s done within the cancellation period, after the first time is an additional $10 every time you need to change or transfer your dates in your reservation.
Improper Reservations
For reservations that provide an invalid method of payment (card is declined or expired), we will attempt to contact you for up to 48 hours (12 days prior to arrival), if we are unable to reach you, your reservation will be released and your deposit will be forfeited.
We are not responsible for incorrect email addresses, phone numbers, or if we are not able to leave a message on your voicemail. When making your reservation please verify your contact information is correct.
Minimum Stay
Weekends and major holidays require a two-night minimum stay at all cabins. Meadows of Dan Campground & Cabins operates using dynamic pricing, any price that is quoted is subject to change based on availability.
Smoking Policy
Please no smoking inside the Cabins. Detected smoking inside a unit will result in an additional cleaning fee of $150.
Drug Policy
At Meadows of Dan Campground & Cabins we do not allow any illegal drug use; if any is detected you will be asked to leave immediately without refund. Authorities will be notified.
Pet Policy
We love pets, however NOT ALL accommodations are pet friendly. Please confirm that the accommodation is listed as pet friendly. Meadows of Dan Campground & Cabins reserves the right to charge a cleaning or damage fee where it requires additional cleaning or fixing damage that your pet(s) incur. Only four (4) animals are allowed per RV, Tent, and Pull-Thru Sites. Special arrangements must be made for reptiles or farm animals.
- Cabins are not pet-friendly. No pets are allowed in the cabins without prior approval for service animals. If pets are noted inside the cabin, a $150 pet cleaning fee will be charged to the card on file.
- Pets left unattended must be put in a crate or inside your vehicle. You will be responsible for paying for any and all damages.
- Pets must be on a leash anytime they are outside.
- Please pick up after your pet. Any extra mess due to pet stay will be charged a fee to the card on file at a price of $25.
Rules and Regulations
1. Fees are payable at the office during business hours. If you wish to stay another day or request late departure, please check with the office to make sure no incoming reservations are assigned to your site.
2. No more than one vehicle is permitted per site reservation and two vehicles per cabin reservation. Extra vehicles and extra guests include a small fee. Any damage done to property by vehicle or towing of RV will be charged to the account on file.
3. Campfires are to be built only in provided sites and not left unattended.
4. Children under 16 years old must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
5. Quiet hours are from 10 pm to 8 am. Please be respectful of your fellow campers. Any noise complaints could be subject to being asked to leave regardless of time and without refund. If you are not capable of driving, vehicles will be towed.
6. Help us conserve water, no washing of vehicles or campers.
7. Speed limit is 5 MPH in the campground. Off road vehicles including four-wheelers, UTVs or dirt bikes are NOT allowed to operate within the campground.
8. Trash: Please keep your campsite clean and orderly. Use the designated dumpsters and trash receptacles to keep the campground enjoyable. If you need a trash bag, ask for one at the office. Do not use fire pits to burn trash, cigarette butts or even food. Any excessive cleaning of fire pits are subject to a $25 cleaning fee. Do not burn plastic. We ask that you clean up after yourself before you depart by using the trash cans provided and do not start any campfires before you depart. Please do not leave trash in the fire pit. If dumpster is full please let the office know and they will find a place for your trash.
9. Pets must be kept on a leash at all times, per state law. Please pick up after your pet and do not leave pets unattended. Pets are only permitted in accommodations listed as pet friendly. Limit of four animals per RV, Tent, or Pull-Thru Site unless special arrangements are made. No pets are allowed in the cabins without prior approval for service animals. If you reserve an accommodation and it does not say it is “pet friendly”, unfortunately, we cannot allow your pet in that accommodation. If you stay in a non-pet-friendly accommodation with your pet, we will charge you a pet cleaning fee of $150. *Rates are subject to change.
10. State law requires no fluid discharge of any kind, including sink water, to be allowed on the ground.
11. Washing dishes in the bathhouse is not permitted. A dishwashing sink is provided in the center of the Tent Sites and water pumps at every vehicle site.
12. No washers or dryers are permitted at your site; we have a laundry facility for your convenience.
13. Failure to comply with rules may result in eviction without a refund. No refunds for early departure.
14. Management is not responsible or liable for accidents or injuries to guests. We are also not responsible for the loss of money, jewelry, etc. due to theft.
15. Must be 21 years of age to rent an Accommodation or RV Site.
16. A valid credit card and matching ID must be presented to rent an accommodation or RV Site. Our accommodations are inventoried prior to arrival and upon departure. Any damages to property, accommodation, amenity, or missing items from the accommodation will be charged to the card that is on file for your reservation.
17. Please return your keys to the office upon checkout. If you depart when the office is closed, please leave the key in the night deposit box outside the office door. Any keys that are not returned are subject to a $150.00 re-key fee.
18. No illegal drugs allowed on the property or you will be asked to leave.
19. Wildlife have an incredibly strong sense of smell so for the protection of all our guests and to avoid a run-in with them, we ask that you store all your food-related items including forks, trash, and coolers in hard-sided storage containers.
20. Guests in accommodations must bundle all used towels, bed sheets, and other linens on the floor of the bathroom. Any excessive cleaning is subject to a minimum $25 cleaning fee.
21. Please do not walk through RV Sites. Walk on roads and use designated paths.
22. No refunds for early checkout or early departure.
23. You acknowledge and understand that you are financially responsible for any and all property damage that may occur during the stated rental period which can reasonably be attributed to your negligence or abuse.
24. Early departures for ANY reason are not eligible for refunds. In the event of a weather-related evacuation, refunds will not be issued; no credits will be issued.
25. Recreational Vehicles of any kind are not allowed to camp or park at any cabin or tent sites. These vehicles are only allowed in an RV Site.
26. Maximum of 8 guests allowed on one site and only one small tent with an RV not to encroach on neighbors site area. Children 12 and under is no charge.
27. Be mindful of campers around you. If your tent is too large and occupies more than one tent site, that could have been used by another camper, you may be charged for the additional site.
28. Lost and Found Policy: Any excessively gross item, single socks or undergarments will be discarded. We will store items for a maximum of 30 days. If we do not receive a request for the item within 30 days, it will be discarded or donated. We do not seek out owners of lost items to get them returned. You are responsible for all items you bring. If you have lost something, please contact us by phone or email within 30 days of your departure date and give a description of the lost item with your name and reservation number. If we have found it, you will need to purchase and email us a shipping label and we will ship it back to you. We are not responsible for purchasing shipping labels.
